Thanks to all who participated in the SUBCANVAS Unproduced Song Contest for 2007. The award goes, after painful deliberation, to "Open Cage" by Jordan Clist. Up until we heard it, Brandon Miller's "Hunt" was the clear winner because we found ourselves always singing it. But this month we experienced three deaths of much loved ones, and "Open Cage" felt like a gift. Thanks, Jordan, for the perfect uplift.

We had some amazing submissions that we had to ignore because of added vocals and/or instruments. The whole point of this award is to get back to just the song.

Check back during the next few days for previews of the songs. The SUSA 2007 top songs compilation will be available for download and will feature all 12 winners. The price is whatever you want it to be, you decide when you buy it. Keep in mind that whatever amount you pay will be split among these artists.
